CBPS Public School Family Update January 9, 2026 Principal's Message Happy New Year! It has certainly been a strange first week back, with two snow days and an usual January rain on Friday. We hope that next week sees a more regular return to winter and the routines of school.

Dear CBPS Families, I hope everyone had a relaxing and fun holiday break. I am very excited to be joining Collins Bay Public School and to begin this new chapter together. I grew up in Elmwood subdivision, and was a student at Collins Bay PS from Kindergarten to Grade 8.

The Limestone District School Board (LDSB) has achieved its strongest Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) performance in four years, with gains in every testing category for the 2024-2025 school year.
