Boardroom Briefs is intended to provide highlights of presentations, reports and decisions made at the regular meeting of the Limestone District School Board of Trustees. The following are highlights of the October 29, 2025 Regular Board Meeting.

CBPS Families, Thank you to our School Council for arranging hot lunches throughLunchBox. Orders can be submitted until Sunday each week. We will hold our first lockdown drill this week, which involves students and staff practicing safety procedures which we are required to do once per term.

Dear Families, It is hard to believe we are already approaching the end of October. Excluding today and a handful of other days, we have enjoyed a beautiful and relatively warm fall.

Dear Families, Limestone is committed to supporting every student in achieving success. To do this, we need to better understand how students’ identities, experiences, and academic outcomes are connected.

CBPS Families, Just a reminder that on Halloween, for those of you who celebrate, it is a Black & Orange spirit day at Collins Bay - please do not send students in costumes. During the potential inclement weather months (roughly early November to early April), our transportation partner, Tri-Board Student Transportation Services (Tri-Board), works closely with their school bus companies to determine if it is safe to offer school transportation on inclement weather days.

CBPS Families, Congratulations to our cross-country runners who showed such grit and determination at the Fort Henry meet, and to Ms. Desarmia for coaching. Just a reminder that milkshake orders are due by the end of Monday. Thanks, and have a wonderful week!
