Principal's Message
Today we enjoyed a fun day of school spirit as students wore black and orange and participated in our school dance and craft activties this afternoon. What a fun way to end the week.
Following up on the Limestone District School Board’s Preparing for Winter-Related Bus Delays and Cancellations 2026-2027 message shared earlier this week, please note that on inclement weather days when school transportation is cancelled, hot lunch for that day will also be cancelled. Refunds for cancelled hot lunch orders will be issued through the Lunchbox program
Reminders that picture day is this Tuesday, our next School Advisory Council (SAC) meeting will take place on Wednesday, November 18th at 6:00 pm in the CBPS Library (Teams meeting link to attend virutally included below), and that Progress Reports and Initial Observations for our JK/SK students will be sent home on Friday, November 13.

School Council
Our small but mighty School Council meets about once every 6 weeks to discuss events and fundraisers at CBPS, bring up issues with administration, and plan special opportunities for students and families. It is a great way to stay informed and involved in your child's schooling!
Our CBPS Council from 2025-26 includes the following executive members:

Our School Council currently has positions available for an Indigenous Representative and Members-at-Large. If you are interested in getting involved and helping contribute to our school community, we would love to hear from you! Allergen Awareness - Nut-Free School
Thank you for packing nut-free snacks! Please communicate with teachers before sending any treats in for your student's class.
Concussion Codes of Conduct
All school boards in Ontario are required to have a policy on concussion safety for students. There have been some changes to LDSB Concussion Protocol this year which simply the Return to Learn (RTL) and Return to Physical Activity (RTPA) process and support a safe, gradual, symptom-informed return to school and activity. These are outlined in Administrative Procedure 142: Concussions, as well as a variety of supporting resources and documents that outline a code of conduct for students and families, flow charts to identify and diagnose a concussion and assessment and management forms. Please reach out to the school with any questions.
