Family Update ~ Aug 31st, 2026
The first day of school is just around the corner and we are excited to welcome our students and families back for another wonderful year at Collins Bay Public School!
We know that children may be feeling excited, nervous, or a bit of both on the first day. Please reassure them that staff will be outside on the first morning, Wednesday, September 2, to help every child have a warm welcome and ensure they get safely to their clasroom. Staff will be available to support students, making sure everyone feels safe, confident, and ready to learn.
To help us have a smooth and safe start to the school year, we also ask families to please remind your children about bus safety, including staying seated, keeping hands and belongings inside the bus, listening carefully to the driver, and using safe behavior when getting on and off.
We look forward to seeing smiling faces, reconnecting with returning students, and welcoming new friends to our school community. Here’s to a wonderful year full of learning, growth, and belonging!
